Welcome message from Clara Lim,
Assistant Manager (PR & Branding),
Integricity Corporation

Do you hear that sound? It's the sound of your neighbours cheering ridiculously loud at 3 in the morning for the fifth time this week! Softly in the distance, the sounds of alarm clocks ring simultaneously. And if you listen really hard, you can hear, softly in the distance, the sounds of friends trading punches over the best sofa seat in front of the tv set.

This is a possible scenario of what's to happen in the next few weeks. There is something about this highly-anticipated sports event that gets everyone in the mood. Once every four years, people who do not usually watch football will stay up to watch the World Cup. Being true to our promise of being fanatical, our football fanatics would like to share their passion for the game with you in this edition of Fanatical Voices.

While we move into another manic football season, we’d like to take a moment to thank you for your incredible support. We’re excited to be a dynamic young company, and we look forward to continuously providing you with the Fanatical Service you deserve.

The last month has seen developments. As part of our commitment to fanatically meeting expectations, we've improved FanaticalService.com - Integricity's dedicated customer service website. We’ve also been working hard on our brand new website, and you’ll be the first to know when it is launched.

Once again, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the May edition of Fanatical Voices. We hope that you’ll enjoy reading about what we’ve been up to in the last month.

Here’s to a great World Cup season!

Fanatically yours,

Clara Lim
Assistant Manager (PR & Branding)

Tech Tips : The Chameleon Key

In the spirit of the World Cup fever, we present this excellent default Windows shortcut:

ALT+TAB
allows you to switch between open programs

Open up a few different programs. Then try this trick of holding down the "ALT" key (left of the space bar), while pressing the "TAB" key (to the left of the letter Q). Do this several times and watch what happens. The different tasks on the screen are alternated around.

Now all you need is to develop a sixth sense on the whereabouts of your colleagues so that you are able to switch between open programs with split-second accuracy.

The People behind Integricity :
Sarah, Warren and Wu Han on football

Greetings, readers. A few days to go and we're excited! The World Cup is fast approaching and the whole world has already been hyped up in football fever since early this year. Today we’ll be talking to our football fanatics : Sarah (Assistant Manager, Applications Development), Wu Han (Assistant Manager, Applications Development) and Warren (Executive Director).

Our football fanatics in their football viewing gear :
From left to right - Warren in his Liverpool jersey, Sarah in her Dutch football jersey and Wu Han in his exotic Hawaiian shirt.

Tell us a bit about yourself and your knowledge of football.

Warren : I’ve been a die-hard Liverpool fan since I was a kid. Anyone who isn’t a Liverpool fan loses 10,000 points in my books. But hey, nobody’s perfect and it’s never too late to repent and realise the error of your ways. Except, of course, if you are a Manchester United fan. Or worse, a Chelsea fan who hopped on to the bandwagon when the Russian Mafia took over. That really is unforgivable.

Sarah : Me? Hey, I’m a girl! What do I know about football? Haha, just kidding :-D Let's see. I started watching football around the time Manchester United was competing for the treble tropies - English Premier League, FA Cup and European Cup because everyone around me was watching it! So, I guess the football craze rubbed off on me.

Wu Han : I’m a 25 year old IT worker. I use to play some recess football in college, but I’m not a nut. I enjoy watching matches but do not ask me about tactics, star teams or star players.

Nice. So what are your football viewing necessities?

Warren : A very special and dear fellow Liverpool fan… she’s the only necessity. You can take away my 40” LCD and replace it with a 4” black and white screen and I’ll still be happy :-)

Sarah : Definitely a big screen projector! Adds to the fun when you see the players ‘up close’. The atmosphere in Soul’ed Out is cool and also great for people watching ;-)

Wu Han : A gigantic screen and good company of football nuts is a must for a non-nut like me. Mamak stalls are best but a bar full of football fans is a great alternative (at least if the match is uninteresting, I can check out the girls).

The time difference from KL, Malaysia to Berlin, Germany will be -6 hours during the World Cup. Seeing the live telecasts begin late at night and early in the morning in Malaysia, how do you plan to manage the late match times?

Sarah : Hmm, that’s what annual leave is used for! Haha, actually it doesn’t bother me that much to watch delayed telecasts! There will always be certain matches that are not to be missed, and if you see me show up at work with black eye bags, you’ll know why.

Wu Han : Coffee is my new best friend. But seriously, should be no problem. I’ll only be watching a few teams play, France, England, Italy, Germany, Argentina and the Brazilians!

Warren : World Cup? Is Liverpool playing in the World Cup? Oh, yes, of course they are. I remember a certain match in 2001 when Liverpool trashed Germany 5-1. Owen, Gerrard and Heskey scored all 5 goals for England, when the Beckhams, Nevilles and Coles all strolled about, seemingly taking in the sights of the Munich stadium. I’ve no doubt it will be the same again this year. Leave it to Gerrard, Crouch and Carragher. Who needs a half-injured Rooney!

Oh sorry, I seem to have segued to Liverpool again. What was the question again? Does it really apply to me?

The boys throw punches at each other. Sarah intervenes.

We wanted to know how you planned to watch the late World Cup match times. Anyway, which football websites do you visit?

Wu Han : www.fifaworldcup.yahoo.com of course.

Sarah : www.soccernet.com! Up-to-date news almost as it happens.

Warren : www.LiverpoolFC.tv

What is your favourite football commercial?

Wu Han : Nike has consistently released very witty-cool ads with the Brazilian star players. So, any of the Nike football ads are good.

Sarah : Yeah, I think Nike ads are cool.

Warren : Oh surely you can guess my answers by now.

Right. We’re guessing “anything Liverpool-related”... Moving on, what’s your most memorable World Cup match?

Wu Han : 98’—Brazil was like, totally owned by the French and I lost 200 bucks. BOO!

That’s painful. And the two of you… the same question.

Sarah : Brazil vs Turkey in 2002, where Rivaldo got hit on the leg by the ball, then he dropped to the ground and started holding his head. What a faker.

Warren : Sorry, I can’t recall any World Cup matches that were particularly memorable.

So which was your most memorable football match?

Warren : I will always remember the 2005 Champions League Final in Istanbul, and the FA Cup Final this year when Liverpool twice came from seemingly impossible odds to come back and win!

Name your World Cup Dream Team.

Wu Han : One with me in it, and a very hot cheerleading squad…

Sarah : Any team with cute, talented guys!

Warren : Steven Gerrard, Peter Crouch, Jamie Carragher, et al, with Rafa Benitez as coach…

Cheering on a women’s football match.

Excellent choices. Do you know who won the 2003 Women’s World Cup?

Sarah : Hmm..women’s football? The only woman I know who played football was USA’s Mia Hamm, so I’m going to have to guess USA!

Wu Han : Germany?

Warren : Liverpo…

No. It was NOT Liverpool. Good guess, Wu Han. It was Germany. Now who do you think will win the World Cup?

Sarah : Brazil, Holland or Argentina! Haha, hard to say.

Wu Han : Brazil. Unless they purposely lose it.

Before you digress, the question again : Who do you think will win the World Cup?

Warren : Okay, fine, fine, fine. England, happy? No prizes for guessing why.

Finally, no one likes to think about losses. What will you do if your team is eliminated early in the World Cup? What is your Plan B?

Wu Han : Brazil not make the finals? Such travesty will not happen.

Sarah : I'll cheer for any other teams playing against them! Once they have lost, I'll switch to watching tennis - Wimbledon will be on as well!

Warren : Blasphemy!! How dare you! Miss Editor, you’re fired. Anybody wants to apply for the job? :-)

Warren’s kidding. Thanks for chatting, everyone.

Testimonial : Hilton – Top Key Club Team

Still remembered the day when we decided to revamp the entire Top Key Club system in a short lead-time as we needed the website launched during the member’s annual party. Shopped around for different vendors for comparison – wanted a team that is able to deliver consistency and quality with a reasonable pricing.

Appointed the ‘Fanatical Service Team’. Although they had never worked with loyalty programs, the team had came forward as young, dynamic and ready to take challenges. Yes, a little ‘fanatic’ I must say at the beginning but thanks for their ‘fanatical’ rush and professionalism, the Top Key Club system was not only brought back online on time but also projected a much better system as a whole. What can I say? Well, a job well done to the team and we look forward to continue receiving your Fanatical Services!!!
