When Adobe announced that it would acquire Macromedia, we were rather
disappointed to see that competition in the industry has faded. However, when Adobe Systems recently took the wraps off its Creative
Suite 3 (CS3) software packages, we were blown away! The release offers
tightly integrated design and developement tools for virtually every
creative workflow – from documents and images to the web, audio and video. The crazy
list of features allows many time consuming jobs to be reduced to single or
double clicks! This attractive idea ultimately means greater productivity.
Now while we eagerly wait for the delivery of the Adobe CS3 software to our office, I'd like to mention a few things here. In case you've missed out our refreshed brand logo, take a look again. More to come. We promise to keep you updated. Do also take a look at Tech Tips and our news and updates for some lovely new work we've been doing and find out about some other stuff that's important to us (and hopefully you).
Have a great month!
Fanatically yours,

Clara Lim
Account Manager

We trust you would have received an email notification regarding the introduction of a system enhancement to our PLESK-range shared hosting servers. We would like to thank everyone who has taken the opportunity to clarify and check on the health of their hosting accounts.
In this edition of Tech Tips, we will discuss the reasons why email accounts go over quota.
CatchAll Settings
Did you know that most email accounts are overquota because of your CatchAll settings?
A CatchAll is the account designated to receive undelivered email. If a message is sent to an invaild email address at your domain, the message will be delivered to the CatchAll account. This feature can be useful if someone misspells your email address because you will still receive that message in your CatchAll account.
Sad to say, spammers often try to guess every single email address they can think of. The CatchAll account will fall victim to this, thus filling up the email boxes by dramatically increasing the amount of spam.
Inactive mailboxes
Another reason for email overquota is inactive mailboxes. This is especially true if the mailbox is of a common name because spammers tend to spam these email addresses. If a colleague leaves your organisation, do remember to remove their email account(s).
*****
On the surface, these steps may be an inconvenience to you but is a necessary and vital aspect of web hosting which insures long term uptime and reliability of your site and hosting-related services! Please contact us at www.fanaticalservice.com if you would like more information.
