 New experiences are great!
They enrich our lives and keep us on our toes.
Ever caught off guard by a surprise birthday party planned for you? How about receiving a wedding invitation from a fellow schoolmate? Or a surprise visit from an old friend?
Nothing excites like new experiences. When we keep doing the same things day in day out, the results will be nothing more than ... well, normal. It is quite expected, really.
We celebrate Hari Raya Aidil Fitri about the same time every year by feasting on our favourite dishes, renewing family ties and age-old stories. This festive season, why not do some things a little different? Surprise a friend with a gift! Cook a new dish! Take a new route back home. Get to know someone new! Take the road less traveled and you might find yourself enjoying the journey!
A word of advice for those of you who have an elephant's memory. New experiences are best enjoyed only when you can make room for them. Purge the old and embrace the new. Reconcile and put the past behind this season!

For six months, I’ve been working on a new business proposal for a revolutionary venture. So much research has gone into this proposal - I’ve got photos, schematics, quotations, emails and blueprints which are vital to making the idea a success. I’m so excited, because I know it will succeed… no one else has ever thought of an idea like this.
Next week, I’m going to submit my proposal to the biggest venture capitalist in Asia, and based on the exchange of emails with them, they’re going to grant me funding for the entire idea.
