Welcome message from Jek Tan
Operations Director
Integricity Corporation
Hello to all. It has been a while since I have been given the opportunity to address our audience in Fanatical Voices. Malaysian politics and elections aside, I feel an interesting topic to discuss would be the brand new service we are offering. We are calling it TODAY!
It is intriguing how people perceive speed differently in different circumstances. Speed has and always will have a direct impact on your time. For instance, just consider these scenarios:
1. Would you pay a premium fee to travel faster (hence saving time) on a high speed train?
2. Would you pay a premium fee to get your international parcels delivered within 24 hours?
3. Assume you are dining in a 5-star restaurant for the first time. You order and before you can finish your pre-dinner joke; your food is served from a counter similar to that of stylish McDonald’s. Does that give you an uneasy feeling about the quality of the food and the care and love that went into preparing your meal? Are you getting value for your money?
4. You engage the best marriage counsellor at a premium fee to help you out with your rocky but invaluable marriage. The counsellor charges by the hour, yet for each session he’s always done in 15 minutes! Do you feel you are getting value for your money's worth?
My point is that the relationship between speed (time saving) and cost has never remained constant. At our Interactive Agency, every time a project has to be “crashed” or compressed, it normally means the fee goes up as more resources need to be deployed and other non-critical projects take a backseat. I won’t bore you further with the details.
However, I am delighted to say that we will be changing that! We are going to defy the existing relationship between speed of delivery and cost. I present to you, TODAY! by Integricity. TODAY! is targeted at the fast paced, instant gratification, Web 2.0, mobile lifestyles that we lead today. If you need a quality website done fast and don’t have Coca-Cola’s marketing budget, TODAY! is the answer. Just come by our office, talk to our people and we’ll deliver it TODAY!
Fanatically yours,
Jek Tan

Malaysia Votes And We Watch The Internet
By Alex Lam
I’m currently staying abreast of the elections which are on-going, together with my family. But contrary to the last time I voted, I’m following the results in even more-realtime as compared to merely watching TV. This year, many of my friends and I (you probably did it too) are logged online with laptops on our, errrr… laps, and busily refreshing pages every few minutes.
For the more technically savvy and those who really want to know a bit more about whois, IP Addresses, DNS, etc… here’s some info for you.
Fanatical Integricity’s Photoshoot
By Grace Tan
I must say I quite enjoy the wacky zany culture in Integricity Corporation. The team is made up of creative geniuses, who churn out amazing work. I had the privilege of shooting some rather unusual profile photos of the entire staff team - all 25 of them, to place on their up and coming, revamped company website. These photos will be masked out and placed together against another background, but we used the nice red wall of the office to shoot these shots.
Yahoo! – Innocent Bystander or Key to Internet Dominance
By TJ Tee
A little over a month ago, Microsoft made an unsolicited bid to buy Yahoo for $31 a share in cash and stock, valuing the company at $44.6 billion - a bid which Yahoo’s board rejected, saying it undervalued the company. Steve Ballmer has indicated that he won’t take “no” for an answer and Bill Gates has publicly described the offer as “very fair”. Analysts expect Microsoft to sweeten its bid, possibly to $35 a share, to clinch a deal.
